How I Can Tell

If your anything like me,

sometimes you make the extra effort to be polished in your execution.

Did you catch it?

your

not you’re

the contraction of you are.

it’s not proper English, your, it implies possessiveness or a noun and not a verb.

But sometimes…

I slip.

I misspell shit, and I double up my words on occasion, (the the, and and, etc, etc.)

I have a… “unique” method to the madness of my capitalization and line spacing.  My comma usage is sometimes deplorable… and I use the dot dot dot alot.

A LOT…

-ahem-

See? I did it again. A lot. 2 words. Not 1.

there are just those certain times…  where I completely fuck it up.  I’ll just have no way of justifying what the hell I typed and how it ended up on the screen all jumbled and mixed up.  It doesn’t happen all that often… but often enough to be aware of its consequences.

Like making the slightest of errors…

… Leaving your instead of you’re when I’m not checking myself closely…

Among other … errors…

so…

when I lose the focus of my attention on my “polished delivery”, I have come to the conclusion that it’s a result of my focus being shifted enough to a certain something that’s “charming” to me…

like

a girl.

It happens every now and then.

In other words…

I’m distracted by my own excitement.

Cool.

-grin-

It doesn’t necessarily have to be a girl that will give me that kind of a rush…

that sort of excitement…

the Tinglings of desire….

That is How I Can Tell.

But…

It’s usually a girl more often than anything else.

So,

sometimes in re-reading what messages I’ve written and sent…

perhaps not until after a few months have passed…

I’ll find the errors…

and smile about it for awhile.
